Based on doodles on his high school textbooks, Josh’s friends and family thought he’d grow up to be a cartoonist. He shocked them all when he became a front-end website developer instead (with a slight detour as a professional bass trombonist with two music degrees).
Wanting to avoid the starving artist lifestyle, Josh learned to design and code websites. He embraces responsive and atomic design, usability and accessibility. His favorite tools are Jekyll, Sass, Bootstrap, WordPress, Sketch and expensive Adobe products. And Josh still doodles in the margins.
In his hours away from work, Josh goes back to his love of music. That is, when he’s not traveling, welcoming his son home from school and geeking out over Star Wars.
